What is Connexions and how can we help you?
Connexions is a confidential advice and support service for young people aged 13-19 (and up to 25 for young people with special needs).
Connexions can offer you advice and support on a wide range of subjects, including information and guidance on careers, Apprenticeships and other work-based learning, further education (in a school Sixth Form or at college), higher education (at university), financial issues (including Child Benefit, learner support funds and Care to Learn), employment and learning opportunities (including part-time work), personal development opportunities and other lifestyle issues such as health.
Connexions Centres run job clubs, offering help with job search, CVs, covering letters, speculative letters, job applications, interview techniques, mock interviews and confidence building.
