- You may receive informal or formal training from your employer, but this is not guaranteed
- You may be entitled to Time Off for Study or Training - paid time off from your job for if you have yet to acheive a Level 2 qualification
An Intermediate Level Apprenticeship

- You will work towards qualifications at Level 2 or 3
- Employed apprentices will receive a wage of at least £2.65 per hour, although some employers pay more.
- Possibility of transferring to an Advanced Apprenticeship
An Advanced Level Apprenticeship

- Recruitment/selection by the employer
- You will work towards qualifications at Level 3.
- You will receive a wage of at least £2.65 per hour that reflects your skills, experience and ability
Foundation Learning
- A personalised work preparation programme that will help you move on into further education, training, an Apprenticeship or employment
- Support with literacy, numeracy, IT skills, confidence-building and job-search skills
- Learning at Level 1 or 2
- The chance to do extended work experience
- Learners in financial hardship will be able to apply to the learning provider's 16-19 Bursary Fund. Those most in need will be eligible to receive a bursary of £1,200 a year
Full time education at sixth form or college
- Further Education or Specialist College, a School Sixth Form or College Sixth Form Centre or an Academy
- Full-time study of 12 hours or more per week
- A wide range of courses and qualifications including AS/A2 Levels (A Levels), BTECs, Diplomas,Connect courses and vocational courses at Level 1, 2 or 3
- Progression from Level 1 to Level 2 to Level 3
- Learners in financial hardship will be able to apply to the learning provider's 16-19 Bursary Fund. Those most in need will be eligible to receive a bursary of £1,200 a year
